What are the Night Noodle Markets?
The Night Noodle Markets is a major highlight of the Good Food Month festival. South Bank is transformed for three fabulous weeks, with up to 25 food stalls, bars and nightly entertainment. This street-food style market is a great meeting place for families, office workers and their friends, who want to drink, dine, relax under the stars and soak up the atmosphere in this authentic Asian hawker market.
Where is the event located?
The Night Noodle Markets is held in Cultural Forecourt, South Bank.
COST: Free entry
WHEN: Wednesday July 22 – Sunday August 2
Monday – Thursday: 5pm til late, Friday: 4pm til late and weekends: 2pm til late
How much is it to enter the markets?
There is no fee to enter the markets, this is a FREE community event.
Is there a map that shows where all the stalls are located and which restaurants are in here?
MAP coming soon.
Can anyone go into the Coopers, Thatchers, Yalumba, Tanqueray, Schweppes and Cathay Pacific seating areas?
Yes, anyone can go in to these seating areas.
I’m here for the Citibank VIP area – Where do I go?
The Citibank VIP area is located to the right of the entrance at Russell Street.
Getting to the event?
To plan your trip visit the Transport for QLD website.
What are the main entry points?
There are two entry points. One on Russell Street and one off Grey Street at the Cultural Centre Tunnel.
What is the parking situation?
As we are expecting quite a lot of patrons to the event, we would recommend public transport is the first option for all people attending this event. Limited parking will be available.

Will there be EFTPOS accepted at the markets?
Yes, Night Noodle Markets will now be cashless, with all drinks and food available using your credit, or debit card. Amex and Diners will not be accepted.
Will there be ATMs at the markets?
The event is now cashless so there will not be ATM's onsite. Please bring your debit or credit card to the event.
Will there be First Aid at the markets?
Yes, there will be a First Aid area clearly marked out within the event space.
Will there be wheel chair accessibility?
The event is wheel chair accessible.
Will there be live entertainment at the event?
Yes, there will be a variety of live entertainment daily.
Do the markets still go ahead if it’s raining?
The event will go ahead rain, hail or shine, however a call is made by the organisers at 3pm weekdays and 12 midday on weekends on the day in question if the weather is dangerous to our staff and patrons to see whether the markets will go ahead or not.
Are children welcome?
Yes, the Night Noodle Markets is a family-friendly event. The event is open to guests of all ages.
Are dogs permitted?
Yes, dogs are allowed into the event site. Dogs must be kept on a leash and at a distance of 10m from food stalls at all times. Owners are responsible for the safe keeping of their animals and must respect other patrons of the event. Pet owners must ensure all droppings are tidied up and removed from the event.
Can we bring our own food and drink to the event?
Yes you are welcome to bring food into the event, however as this is a food event, we encourage guests to try as much of the lovely food on offer as possible. Absolutely no BYO and no glass on site.
Can you bring alcohol into the event?
This is a licensed event. All alcohol must be purchased through the event bars. All patrons wishing to purchase alcohol must have ID. You will undergo a bag check on arrival and any alcohol will be confiscated.
Can I smoke in all areas of the venue?
The event is a non smoking event, inline with current smoking laws in regards to smoking in outdoor eating and drinking area.
Where can I locate lost property?
If you lose something at the markets, please speak to a member of our Security or Organisers team to leave your details of what was lost. If you find something at the markets, please hand it in to a member of the Security or Organisers team before you leave. After the Festival, please email us from the Contact Us page on our website - http://www.goodfoodmonth.com/contact with full details (including your name, contact number, email address, postal address and as much info as you can about the item that you’ve lost). We’ll do our best to reunite items with their owners.
